Following on the kitchen theme, these mugs are favorites of my wife.  They are from a life saving station in North Carolina, called Chicamacomico on Hatteras Island.  Neat place - definitely worth the visit.

The Spice Shelf

 

Basil, Red Pepper, Cinnamon, Chili Powder, Oregano, Dill, Paprika.  These are the spices we use most often, so they are out on a shelf near the stove.  The jars are from that Swedish housewares and furniture retailer.
